TPI Polene Public Company Limited and its Subsidiaries
TPI Polene Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries (“TPI Polene Group”) are committed to conducting business in a manner that fosters sustainable growth with responsibility to society and the environment. TPI Polene Group realizes that sustainable procurement plays a vital role in supporting sustainable business operations. This policy has been established to provide guidelines for consistent and sustainable procurement practices across TPI Polene Group accordingly, the Sustainable Procurement Policy has been established the following:-
- To conduct procurement with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and effectiveness, considering quality, price, and service.
- To carry out procurement with an emphasis on business ethics, treating suppliers fairly, providing accurate, complete, clear, and transparent information, and listening to their feedback and suggestions equally.
- To ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in procurement processes, strictly complying with relevant rules, regulations, and laws, and maintaining effective risk management and internal control systems.
- To consider environmental impacts, social responsibility, and good governance (Environmental, Social, and Governance: ESG) in procurement, and to encourage suppliers to adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct (COC). To support local sourcing and environmentally friendly products and services from community-based and domestic suppliers to stimulate the local economy, to create jobs, and to generate income in the areas where the business operates as part of a sustainable supply chain management approach.
- To comply with legal regulations related to safety, occupational health, and the environment.
- To continuously monitor and review sustainability procurement practices to ensure suppliers’ compliance with this policy and to assess sustainability risks within the value chain.
- To emphasize supplier relationship management, to foster strong partnerships, and to support the development of suppliers’ capabilities for mutual growth.
- To promote and support the procurement of environmentally friendly products and encourage suppliers to adopt energy-saving technologies. All departments are required to purchase water-saving equipments with lower emissions, and to implement efficient waste management systems in line with legal requirements and integrated management practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and environmentally friendly products and services.
- To promote knowledge-sharing and capacity-building among employees and suppliers, while maintaining positive relationships to drive long-term sustainable growth together.
All executives and employees of TPI Polene Group are responsible for supporting, driving, and strictly adhering to this Sustainable Procurement Policy and its management framework.
